Bursting a Bubble

This is a sarcastic rendition of bursting every start-ups bubble, enjoy:

Start-ups Mantra:

We are a young company, but have passed the start-up phase and are now generating solid profits and growing strongly. We take pride in being motivated and able to make decisions quickly with our streamlined organization and strong work ethic. We have an open door policy for all employees and short lines of communication.

With Translation:

We are a young company (start-up), but have passed the start-up phase and are now generating solid profits (paid the phone bill last month) and growing strongly (made a sale last week). We take pride in being motivated and able to make decisions quickly (not strategic thinkers) with our streamlined organization (just Bob and Jack) and strong work ethic (have nothing else to do, so why not?). We have an open door policy for all employees (Bob and Jack) and short lines of communication (Bob yells ‘answer the phone’ across mom’s basement at Jack).
